~lavender, bergamot, petitgrain, orange blossom, oakmoss~
If ever there was an alternate version of Sylphide this would be it. Finally completed in early 2019, this is the most complex fragrance I have made to date, and one which I've been gradually refining since 2017. A desire to create a more masculine fragrance for the range inspired the restructuring of the quintessential men's chypre to form something new whilst retaining some of the characteristics of the old; the traditional labdanum note replaced with a complex peppery oud and amber accord. A citrus and floral opening dominated by lavender and bergamot gives way to a heart of petitgrain, orange blossom and bitter almond, the whole composition gradually softening into an intricate oud and oakmoss base. It's a bit of everything, for all to savour.
